Permasteelisa Gartner M.E., an Italian facade company, has formed a joint venture with Albaddad Capital to expand its operations in the UAE and Saudi Arabia. The partnership aims to establish a specialized curtain wall production facility to undertake facade projects across the region, capitalizing on the ongoing flow of large-scale projects in these markets. Albaddad Capital operates with dual headquarters in Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
The collaboration will leverage Permasteelisa Gartner Middle East's expertise in the design, delivery, and installation of complex architectural facades. The joint venture will utilize a purpose-built production facility in Jebel Ali, covering 44,749 square meters with a 20,000-square-meter indoor built-up area.
Lee Marks, Chief Operating Officer for Permasteelisa Group, highlighted the partnership's potential to transform facade project delivery in the region. He emphasized the combination of Permasteelisa's engineering and design expertise with Albaddad Capital's manufacturing capacity, market knowledge, and rapid delivery capabilities. Permasteelisa Group has a strong track record in the Middle East, having been active since 2002 and completed over 50 major projects.
