Accor, Valor Hospitality Partners, and the Investment Corporation of Dubai (ICD) have expanded their partnership with the opening of a six-hotel cluster at Deira Waterfront, part of the Deira Enrichment Program. Valor Hospitality Partners will manage the 999-key cluster, which officially opened on April 1st. The development combines three existing Accor properties (ibis Styles, Aparthotel Adagio, and Mercure) with three new additions (Novotel, ibis Styles, and Mercure).
This expansion caters to diverse traveler needs. Adagio offers extended-stay options, Mercure provides locally inspired experiences, ibis Styles focuses on design-driven affordability, and Novotel blends business and leisure seamlessly. The partnership emphasizes strategic and sustainable growth within the UAE's innovative hospitality sector.
The new portfolio addresses the growing demand for mid-scale and economy accommodations, offering quality stays at competitive prices. Accor, with over 290 properties in the Middle East, plans to add 130 more by 2028. This aligns with Accor's long-term vision for the region, driven by strong growth in non-luxury brands like Pullman, Ibis, and Novotel.
The UAE remains a key revenue driver for Accor, which plans to capitalize on the "premium economy," extended-stay residences, and serviced apartment segments to fuel further regional growth.
