Modon Holding and Montage Hotels & Resorts have partnered to introduce Montage Ras El Hekma, a luxury resort and branded residences project in Egypt's Ras El Hekma development. This marks Montage's debut in the Egyptian market. The project will feature 200 guestrooms and suites, alongside 96 branded residences available for purchase.
The development is part of the larger $35 billion Ras El Hekma masterplan, a 170.8 million square meter coastal project on Egypt’s Northern Coast. The resort will include beachfront lagoons, a Spa Montage, multiple dining options, retail spaces, event areas, and an owners’ clubhouse. The branded residences will be villas with three to six bedrooms, located within Wadi Yemm, the first precinct of Ras El Hekma to begin active delivery.
This partnership aligns with Modon's vision to establish Ras El Hekma as a premier Mediterranean destination. The collaboration signifies a key step in Montage International's international expansion strategy. Future collaborations between Modon and Montage across other Modon destinations are anticipated.
Ras El Hekma is designed as a mixed-use coastal city with residential areas, tourism infrastructure, marinas, cultural venues, a business district, and comprehensive transport links. Upon completion, the project is projected to contribute approximately $25 billion annually to Egypt’s GDP and create around 750,000 jobs.
