A custom-built, seven-bedroom villa in Dubai's Al Barari has set a new record, selling for a staggering Dh121.2 million. This transaction marks the most expensive sale to date within the community, surpassing the previous high of Dh72 million set in April 2023. The Allsopp & Allsopp Private Office, specializing in high-net-worth clients, facilitated both record-breaking deals, highlighting the growing interest in Dubai's luxury property market.
The newly sold villa boasts an expansive 33,159 square feet of land, offering seven bedrooms, parking for up to seven vehicles, a private pool, and a full-size rooftop paddle court. Al Barari, known for its luxury and super-luxury offerings, has recently seen other significant sales, including two at Dh59 million and Dh54 million. However, this Dh121.2 million deal is the first to break the Dh100 million mark in Al Barari, solidifying its position as a prime luxury investment destination.
This record-breaking sale underscores Al Barari's evolution, driven by larger plot sizes, expansive built-up areas, and a focus on privacy and green spaces. According to Charlie King, Advisor at Allsopp & Allsopp Private Office, there's increasing demand for homes that seamlessly blend generous space, superior quality, and exceptional design. The previous record-holding villa, sold for Dh72 million, featured a plot of 27,639 square feet and a built-up area of 16,050 square feet.
