New Golf Course Opens at Red Sea Project

Shura Links, a new golf course at The Red Sea destination in Saudi Arabia, offers a unique golfing experience. The course meanders through mangroves, dunes, and the Red Sea coastline, designed with minimal environmental impact, aligning with developer Red Sea Global's regenerative tourism approach. Group CEO John Pagano highlights the course's significance, emphasizing its role in connecting visitors with the beauty of the Red Sea.

The Red Sea destination, centered on Shura Island, is preparing to welcome its first guests. Phase one includes the opening of several luxury hotels, with a total of 11 world-class resorts, including renowned brands like Faena, Fairmont, Four Seasons, and Rosewood, scheduled to open in the coming months. This project is a key component of Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030, aimed at diversifying the economy.

This initiative is part of a larger effort to diversify the Saudi Arabian economy, mirroring similar developments in the UAE. The Red Sea International Airport facilitates easy access, with Qatar Airways launching direct flights soon, and additional routes planned. Golf Saudi CEO Noah Alireza views Shura Links as a crucial step in establishing Saudi Arabia as a premier global tourism destination.
